Susan earned a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in Psychology with a minor in Political Science from Boston University in 1983. Susan went on to earn her Juris Doctorate from Boston University School of Law in 1986, where she participated in their Legal Aid Program, providing pro bono legal assistance to indigent clients.
Prior to becoming a legal recruiter, Susan worked as a litigator at law firms throughout the Northeast, including a large national firm where she represented financial institutions and middle market businesses in complex commercial litigation matters. Susan has litigated in federal and state courtrooms throughout Philadelphia, New Jersey, Baltimore and Boston achieving successful results for her clients including trying numerous jury trials to verdict. In addition, Susan advocated for the rights of abused and neglected children.
Susan spent over four years at one of Philadelphia's oldest legal recruiting firms where she was instrumental in the growth of the legal departments of many corporations and law firms throughout Pennsylvania, including Philadelphia, and New Jersey and Delaware.

In addition, Susan has lectured on various topics including career advice strategies to in-house counsel and business development for law firm attorneys.
Susan is a member of the Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, District of Columbia (Inactive), Maryland (Inactive), and Massachusetts (Inactive) bars. In addition, she is an active member of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar Associations as well as Hadassah and The Philadelphia Jewish Business Network. In addition, Susan is a strong supporter of many charitable organizations, including The Support Center for Child Advocacy, Philadelphia VIP, The Philadelphia Bar Foundation, Friends of Israeli Defense Forces and The American Jewish Committee.
